By Car:
Leicester is 2 hours by car from London, 1 hour from Birmingham and 2 hours from Manchester. The M1 passes through Leicestershire, with Junctions 20-24 providing good access to the county. Leicester is on the Midland Mainline from London St. Pancras to South Yorkshire. Direct trains from London take 75 minutes. Central Trains also provide regular services from Birmingham (50 minutes), and from the east and west of the UK. Market Harborough, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray and Hinckley all have railway stations. The nearest station to Ashby de la Zouch is Loughborough.
